Amid rising tensions in West Asia and recent missile attacks near Dubai, Vivek Oberoi shared an emotional message after safely reuniting with his family in the UAE. The actor expressed his gratitude to the UAE leadership and authorities for ensuring safety during these uncertain times. Dubai, part of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), had come under missile strikes launched from Iran in retaliation for attacks carried out by the US and Israel. As tensions escalated in the Middle East, Vivek was seen travelling to Dubai and rejoining his family.

Referring to the UAE as his home, Vivek Oberoi reunited with his loved ones amidst the geopolitical unrest. In a social media video, he said, “For all of us from over 200 nationalities living here, the UAE is simply home. During these past few days, as tensions grew, the distance between me and my family felt heavier than ever. Returning to Dubai, I could see in the eyes of every passenger on that plane that everyone carried a silent story.”

He revealed that the journey was nerve-wracking, with his thoughts constantly on his children. Vivek also praised the UAE government for demonstrating resilience during challenging times. He added, “Today, I am more grateful than ever for the steadfast leadership of the UAE. Your calmness and strength provided the safety we needed to return. You have built a nation that not only functions but also protects.”

On behalf of all Indians residing in the UAE, Vivek expressed his appreciation to the authorities for maintaining everyone’s safety. “My deepest gratitude to the UAE leadership, frontline heroes, and the crew of @emirates for their incredible guardianship. It’s good to be back,” he captioned his post.

Vivek Oberoi’s Projects

On the professional front, Vivek will play an antagonist in Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s film Spirit. The first look of his character from the Prabhas-starrer was recently unveiled. He will also appear in Rishab Shetty’s The Pride of Bharat: Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj as Aurangzeb. Additionally, Vivek has joined the star-studded cast of Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana. He will portray Vibhishan alongside stars like Ranbir Kapoor, Sai Pallavi, and Yash.
