Video: Check out what went behind Akshay Kumar’s phenomenal look in ‘2.0’

‘2.0’, starring megastar Rajinikanth and Akshay Kumar is hands-down the most awaited film of this year. It would not be an exaggeration to say that the film is on an altogether different level. The trailer of S Shankar’s directorial has got a thunderous response and now everyone’s looking forward to the film’s release.

For the first time, we will be seeing Akshay Kumar play a negative role in this film. Filmmaker Karan Johar, who is one of the producers of ‘2.0’, shared a video clip on his Twitter account which shows the hard work that went behind the transformation of Akshay Kumar(in terms of his look). The clip shows Akshay Kumar going through rigorous makeup and prosthetics to get his look right. In the film, Akshay is playing an antagonist’s role and will battle against Rajinikanth. Akshay’s look resembles that of a crow.

Such an intense preparation for the role can only be done by an actor like Akshay Kumar. Akshay is known to go the extra mile to fulfil the demands of any role. The ‘Khiladi’ of Bollywood has often done dangerous stunts and put his body on the line.

‘2.0’ also stars Amy Jackson and is one of India’s most expensive film. The Rajinikanth starrer can match Hollywood when it comes to VFX and technology. This magnum opus is releasing on November 29, 2018.
