Welcome To The Jungle: Team To Fly To Dubai In May For Suniel Shetty’s Entry Scene; Actor Plays A Lovable Don- Report

Producer Firoz Nadiadwala is firm on shooting Suniel Shetty’s grand entry in ‘Welcome to the Jungle’ in Dubai, with the team planning to head there in May. Ahmed Khan’s directorial project is nearing completion. In late March, it was reported that Nadiadwala had postponed a song shoot in Dubai due to the ongoing conflict in West Asia (Welcome to Plan B – March 31). However, both the director and producer remain eager to film in Dubai to showcase a luxurious lifestyle and to capture Suniel Shetty’s entry scene, along with appearances by Arshad Warsi, Paresh Rawal, Johnny Lever, and Rajpal Yadav.

The plan is now finalised. The cast will travel to Dubai in mid-May to shoot the sequence. “Suniel’s introduction scene will be one of the most expensive sets in the film, shot over three days,” a source reveals to Mid-Day. The filmmakers want Suniel’s entry to evoke Feroz Khan’s iconic introduction in ‘Welcome’ (2007). “Suniel plays a lovable don. The scene will be shot at sea, onboard a sleek 200-foot yacht with a helipad. Suniel and Arshad will arrive via helicopter and meet the others.”

Nadiadwala emphasised the importance of shooting in Dubai. “It’s one of the most crucial scenes in the film. The team felt that Dubai’s ambience perfectly matches the mood we want for this universal family entertainer,” he explains. Suniel Shetty, whose ties with Dubai go back 35 years, adds, “I feel safe and secure in Dubai. We’ll be filming a grand sequence there in May. I’m very excited to work with Firoz bhai.”

Apart from filming, Suniel Shetty will host a business reality series called ‘Falcons of Majlis,’ which is similar to ‘Shark Tank’ and focuses on investments. He shares, “I believe Dubai will return to its former glory soon. Praying for peace to come to the world.”

Suniel will be returning to the Hera Pheri franchise as well.
