WOW! Govinda to play a gay villain in his next

Govinda was last seen in his directorial and acting venture, ‘Aa Gaya Hero’ which proved to be a super dud at the box office. The movie may have failed miserably, but this did not dishearten Govinda, who is already all set to be back, and this time in a unique avatar.

The actor is trying to step up his game and will return in his next in a double role. But not just any double role. One of his characters in the film will be seen as a gay villain. (Also Read: Govinda is all set to launch newcomers, but won’t launch his son Yashvardhan)

The actor has earlier played a double role in movies like ‘Bade Miyan Chote Miyan’ and many others and often emerged successful. However, it is the first time that Govinda will be playing gay character in a film, though he has played a drag character in the film ‘Aunty No.1’.

The film will see him paired with two newcomers and will be directed by Satyendra Raj, a debutante. Satyendra earlier collaborated with Govinda in ‘Aa Gaya Hero’ as the creative director of the film.

The film is being produced by Sarwan Sharma and Jayant Ghosh and the shooting of the venture has already started. The movie is said to release in 2017 itself.
