Aamir and Zaira’s ‘Secret Superstar’ starts on a slow note on day 1

Aamir Khan and Zaira Wasim-starrer ‘Secret Superstar’ is surely one of the most awaited films of the year. The movie has received exceptional reviews and everyone just can’t stop praising Zaira for her brilliant performance. The movie released yesterday, but it looks like due to Diwali festival (Lakshmi pooja, to be precise), the film failed to take a flying start at the box office.

On its day one, ‘Secret Superstar’ collected approximately Rs 4.25-4.50 crore as per early estimates which is surely not good, looking at the promotions and the hype around the film. However, we can surely expect it to show a huge growth today as it is a public holiday, and of course reviews and positive word of mouth can do wonders for the movie. From today onwards, the movie will be facing a competition from ‘Golmaal Again’. Talking about the early reports of the Ajay Devgn-starrer the movie has taken a flying start. The film has opened to 70% in the morning shows which is very good.

Let’s wait and watch which movie will win the box office race, ‘Secret Superstar’ or ‘Golmaal Again’.
