‘Avengers: Endgame’ Box-Office Report: Aamir Khan’s ‘Thugs Of Hindostan’ record shattered

‘Avengers: Endgame’ schools Aamir Khan’s ‘Thugs Of Hindustan’ as it shatters ‘TOH’s biggest opening day record. ‘Avengers: Endgame’ has gone on to record a massive day 1 opening at the box-office and torn to bits the record which was set by the Aamir Khan-Amitabh Bachchan starrer last year.

To put the numbers in context, the business registered for Aamir Khan’s ‘Thugs Of Hindustan was the biggest ever first day collections of Rs 52.25 crore in India. The film was hugely aided by the Diwali holiday which is the biggest day of the year for collections. It also broke ‘Baahubali 2: The Conclusion’ by around Rs 9 crore collections. Now ‘Thugs Of Hindostan’s record has been tattered as ‘Avengers: Endgame’ earned Rs 53.10 crore on day 1.

Well, with ‘Avengers: Endgame’ becoming the biggest opener in India of all time, it’s quite evident that the film will have a glorious run at the Indian box-office over the weekend. If not anything, it’s predicted to cross the Rs 100 Cr mark in just two days that too just in India.
