Akshay Kumar-Kriti Sanon starrer Bachchhan Paandey hit the theatres on March 18. Bachchhan Paandey has got positive reviews from the audience and opened with good numbers. It minted Rs. 13.25 crore on Day 1. On Day 2, it saw a dip as it collected Rs. 12 crore. On Day 3, on Sunday, the movie pocketed Rs. 12 crore. The total box office collection of Bachchhan Paandey now stands at Rs 37.25 crore in India. Akshay Kumar plays a deadly gangster in Bachchhan Paandey and the action-comedy also stars Jacqueline Fernandez and Kriti Sanon. It is directed by Farhad Samji. The film’s box-office collection has been affected by Vivek Agnihotri’s The Kashmir Files that has set the box-office on fire.

Sharing the box-office collection of Bachchhan Paandey, trade analyst and film critic, Taran Adarsh tweeted, “#BachchhanPaandey remains low over the weekend, mainly due to #TKF juggernaut that eclipsed the biz of *all* films… Did not witness growth on Day 3… Fri 13.25 cr, Sat 12 cr, Sun 12 cr. Total: ₹ 37.25 cr. #India biz.”.

Bachchhan Paandey is produced by Sajid Nadiadwala and written by Nischay Kuttanda and director Farhad Samji. It also stars Arshad Warsi, Pankaj Tripathi, Prateik Babbar, Abhimanyu Singh, Snehal Daabbi and Saharsh Kumar Shukla.

An excerpt from Bollywood Bubble review read: This is not a film where you go looking for great cinematography, however, with nothing else to bite, you do end up admiring the production scale. It is also astounding to see an Akshay Kumar film with no memorable dialogue.
