Akansha Ranjan Kapoor and filmmaker Sharan Sharma are reportedly ready to take the next big step in their relationship. After dating for the past few years, the couple is now set to tie the knot in July 2026. Reports suggest that the wedding will take place in Mumbai in the presence of close friends and family members.

According to a report by Hindustan Times, Akansha Ranjan Kapoor and Sharan Sharma will get married on July 11, 2026. The couple is also expected to host a wedding reception a day later, on July 12.

A source informed the portal, “Akansha and Sharan are getting married on July 11, followed by a wedding reception on July 12. The reception will take place in JW Marriott and will be hosted by the boy’s side.”

The report further stated that the couple plans to keep the celebrations intimate and private, with only selected guests attending the festivities. Akansha Ranjan Kapoor and Sharan Sharma’s relationship first grabbed attention in 2022 after photos of the two together surfaced online. However, both of them remained tight-lipped about the rumours initially.

Later, in 2024, Akansha officially confirmed the relationship during an interaction with ETimes. She said, “Yes, I am in a relationship with Sharan.” She further added, “While I have not hidden the fact that I am dating him, I don’t like to discuss my personal life too much.”

Akansha has often spoken about relationships and how her sister Anushka Ranjan and actor Aditya Seal inspire her as a couple. Earlier, while speaking to India Today, the actor shared, “I believe that true love does exist. I get inspired in the sense that I want a person who treats me the way Adi treats Didi. I want to be how didi is with Adi in a relationship. We are both spoiled by our parents in a good way. But she has evolved so much as a person and partner for him. She has become more responsible and selfless.”

Akansha & Sharan On The Workfront

Akansha Ranjan Kapoor is best known for her performances in projects like Guilty and Monica, O My Darling. Despite being childhood best friends with Alia Bhatt and coming from a film-producing family, Akansha has consistently spoken about building her own identity in the industry through talent and work.

Meanwhile, Sharan Sharma made his directorial debut with Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl and later directed Mr & Mrs Mahi. Before becoming a director, he worked as an assistant director on Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani and also served as a creative director on Ae Dil Hai Mushkil under Dharma Productions.

On the work front, Akansha Ranjan Kapoor will next be seen opposite Amol Parashar in Gram Chikitsalay. The series has also been renewed for a second season. Sharan Sharma, meanwhile, continues to remain associated with upcoming projects under Dharma Productions.
