With just days left until Bigg Boss 19 premieres on Colors and JioHotstar, the hype surrounding the Salman Khan-hosted controversial reality show is only growing. While reports circulate with names of potential contestants, die hard fans of the show will begin the countdown of who deserves the BB19 winner’s crown the minute all 15 contestants are introduced.

Pass Bigg Boss Winner & The Prize Money They Won
Over the last 18 seasons, the show saw a number of different celebrities how the show – such as Arshad Warsi, Amitabh Bachchan, Shilpa Shetty and Salman Khan, it also witnessed the winners talking home varying amounts of prize money. While several of the initial winners won Rs 1 crore along with the trophy, the prize amount saw a decline over the years. In fact, at one point, the winner only received Rs 30 lakh.

- Season 1 – Rahul Roy – The Aashiqui fame fame emerged as the very first winner of the reality show in India and won a cash prize of Rs 1 crore.
- Season 2 – Ashutosh Kaushik – Kaushik defeated Raja Chaudhary and lifted the trophy and took home Rs 1 crore as his winning amount.
- Season 3 – Vindu Dara Singh – Singh received more votes than Pravesh Rana, lifting the trophy and winning Rs 1 crore as well.
- Season 4 – Shweta Tiwari – Shweta emerged as the show’s first ever woman winner and won Rs 1 crore after defeating The Great Khali during the grand finale.
- Season 5 – Juhi Parmar – The Kumkum – Ek Pyara Sa Bandhan fame took home the trophy and Rs 1 crore after beating Mahek Chahal in 2012.
- Season 6 – Urvashi Dholakia – Urvashi won the season by beating Imam Siddiqui and won Rs 50 lakh along with the trophy.
- Season 7 – Gauahar Khan – The soon-to-be mother beat Tanishaa Mukherji and took home a whopping Rs 50 lakh along with the title.
- Season 8 – Gautam Gulati – This season – which saw both Salman Khan and Farah Khan as its host, resulted in Gulati winning the show and a prize money of Rs 50 lakh.
- Season 9 – Prince Narula – By beating Rishab Sinha, Prince Narula took home the coveted trophy and a prize money of Rs 50 lakh.
- Season 10 – Manveer Gurjar – The first commoner to win the show, Gurjar defeated Bani J and took home the Rs 50 lakh as well as the trophy.
- Season 11 – Shilpa Shinde – Shinde received more votes than Hina Khan in 2018, and emerged as the winner of BB11 with a cash prize of Rs 44 lakh.
- Season 12 – Dipika Kakar – The Sasural Simar Ka actress beat cricketer S Sreesanth and went home with a prize amount of Rs 30 lakh.
- Season 13 – Sidharth Shukla – The much-loved now-late actor didn’t win just BB13 and millions of hearts by beating Asim Riaz, but he also took home Rs 50 lakh as a cash prize.
- Season 14 – Rubina Dilaik – The Shakti — Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki actress didn’t just impress us with her fashion but with her game too. She defeated Rahul Vaidya to win the trophy and a cash prize of Rs 36 lakh.
- Season 15 – Tejasswi Prakash – Teju defeated Pratik Sehajpal to win the show and Rs 40 lakh.
- Season 16 – MC Stan – The rapper defeated Shiv Thakre in 2023 and won Rs 31.8 lakh along with the coveted trophy.
- Season 17 – Munawar Faruqui – Faruqui emerged as the season’s winner by defeating Abhishek Kumar; along with the trophy, he took home a prize amount of Rs 50 lakh.
- Season 18 – Karan Veer Mehra – Mehra emerged as the winner of the show and won the trophy as well as a cash prize of Rs 50 lakh.
Where & When To Watch BB19
Salman Khan-hosted Bigg Boss 19 will premiere on August 24. The show will stream on JioHotstar at 9 pm followed by a telecast on Colors TV at 10:30 pm. This season’s official first look – including the logo, was unveiled on July 25. Its teaser was unveiled on July 31 and received a positive response. On August 7, JioHotstar and Colors TV released the trailer featuring Salman Khan. It also provided details about the season’s theme – Gharwalon Ki Sarkaar. As per reports, this year the show introduces a parliament-inspired setting where housemates wield authority over key decisions, from alliances to tasks.
