On the occasion of Raksha Bandhan, two mega Bollywood movies Raksha Bandhan and Laal Singh Chaddha clashed at the box office. Going by the new numbers, Aamir Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan starrer is doing better than Akshay Kumar and Bhumi Pednekar starrer at the box office.

Laal Singh Chaddha which is a remake of Forrest Gump has already crossed the 30 crore mark and is now aiming to hit the 50 crore mark in the coming days. The film earned Rs 8.25 crores on Monday, bringing the grand total to Rs 46 crores. Speaking about Raksha Bandhan, the movie has crossed the 30 crore mark as it minted Rs 6.31 crores on day 5 at the box office, thus the grand total becomes to Rs 34.47 crores.

If you see both movies’ grand total, Laal Singh Chaddha is performing well at the box office compared to Raksha Bandhan.

Day 2 – Friday – Rs 7 crores approx

Day 3 – Saturday – Rs 8.75 crores approx

Bollywood Bubble gave 4 stars to Advait Chandan directorial venture. It is said that the movie is a beautiful adaptation of Forrest Gump. The film is no more or no less than the original.

Bollywood Bubble gave 1.5 stars to Aanand L Rai directorial venture. It read that the film tries hard to narrate a beautiful story of a sister and brother bond but with a problematic plot. It is a 2022 film but it seems to be made with a regressive mindset.
