Meghna Gulzar’s Daayra has released and the positive word of mouth suggest the audience is liking the crime thriller. Starring Kareena Kapoor Khan and Prithviraj Sukumaran as DCP Ajooni and DCP Rama, respectively, the film is being praised for its story, realist manner in which the narrative is handle and the casts’ performances. As per the information circulated by the film’s PR, Meghna Gulzar’s crime thriller that highlights heinous crimes of rape and murder, and makes the audience think about what they would prefer happen to the accused, minted Rs 1.15 crore at the domestic box office. As per trade website Sacnilk, the film’s gross domestic total stands at Rs 1.20 crore.

Having released across 700 cinemas in targeted key centres, the film’s ticket sales is now showing an upward trend thanks to positive reviews and audience’s word of mouth recommendation. The film will likely see positive growth over the weekend.
