Dhurandhar The Revenge Box Office Day 29: Ranveer Singh Led Spy Thriller Actioner Witnesses Major Dip; Crosses Rs 1100 Cr Mark

After dominating the box office for three weeks, Ranveer Singh’s Dhurandhar The Revenge, aka Dhurandhar 2, has now begun to show signs of decline. The film has earned a noticeable dip in its daily earnings. Directed by Aditya Dhar, the film has been a blockbuster, breaking records in recent days. Dhurandhar 2 was released on March 19, featuring Sara Arjun, R Madhavan, Arjun Rampal, Danish Pandor, and Rakesh Bedi.

According to Sacnilk, Dhurandhar 2 earned Rs 2.91 crore on its 5th Thursday, marking the lowest single-day collection since its release. The film’s total gross in India now stands at Rs 1,319.89 crore, with a net collection of Rs 1,102.63 crore. In its first week, the film collected Rs 674.17 crore, followed by Rs 263.65 crore in the second week. In the third week, it earned Rs 110.60 crore and Rs 54.21 crore in the fourth week.

It appears unlikely that Dhurandhar 2 will surpass the lifetime collections of Allu Arjun’s Pushpa 2: The Rise. It grossed Rs 1,234.10 crore, making it the highest-grossing Indian film of all time. Dhurandhar 2 crossed the total Indian earnings of SS Rajamouli’s Baahubali 2: The Conclusion (Rs 1,030.42 crore). It has also overtaken blockbusters like RRR (Rs 782.20 crore), Kalki 2898 AD (Rs 646 crore), and KGF: Chapter 2 (Rs 859.70 crore). The Ranveer Singh starrer surpassed the collections of films like Jawan, Pathaan, Stree 2, and Animal.

About Dhurandhar 2

Dhurandhar 2 was released in theatres on March 19 in Hindi and all South Indian languages. The paid previews premiered on March 18. The original film depicted Ranveer Singh as an Indian spy who infiltrates gangs in Lyari to dismantle a terror network targeting India. It focused on covert intelligence operations amid geopolitical crises such as the Kandahar plane hijack, the 2001 Parliament Attack, and the 26/11 Mumbai attacks.

The sequel expands on this story, showing how the protagonist trains to become Hamza Ali Mazari. He takes control of Lyari’s power dynamics while working to dismantle a terror threat from Pakistan. The film also features an intense face-off between Arjun Rampal and Ranveer Singh. Dhurandhar 2 includes performances by R Madhavan, Rakesh Bedi, Sara Arjun, Danish Pandor, and Sanjay Dutt.
