Jawan worldwide box office collection: Shah Rukh Khan starrer collects over Rs 935 crores, emerges as third highest-grossing Bollywood film in 15 days

Shah Rukh Khan starrer Jawan is on a rampage at the box office. The film is receiving rave response for Shah Rukh Khan and Nayanthara’s chemistry, captivating storyline, and high-octane action sequences. With every passing day, the film is setting a new record. Talking about its worldwide collection, the film has so far minted Rs 937.61 crores. With this, it has emerged as the third highest-grossing Bollywood film.

The action-entertainer created history by booking the biggest opening ever in Hindi cinema with 129.6 Cr. gross worldwide. After ranking Number 2 globally in less than 5 days, the film has now emerged as the 3rd highest-grossing Bollywood movie. It has achieved this remarkable feat in just 15 days.

Apart from this, it is also the 7th highest-grossing Indian movie after Dangal (2024 crore), Baahubali 2: The Conclusion (1810.6 cr), RRR (1316 cr), K.G.F: Chapter 2 (1235.2 cr), Pathaan (1,050.3 cr), Jawan (937.61 cr), Bajrangi Bhaijaan  (918.18 cr).

With such a collection, Shah Rukh is the only Bollywood actor to deliver two $100 million-grossers in a single calendar year. His previous release Pathaan earned over Rs 1000 crores globally, and now Pathaan is a few days away from reaching that mark. The combined collection of both films sums up to Rs 2000 crores which makes the actor box office king of 2023.

About Jawan

The action entertainer directed by Atlee, was released on September 7. It stars Shah Rukh Khan in a double role with Nayanthara playing the female lead and Vijay Sethupathi cast as the antagonist. Deepika Padukone and Sanjay Dutt make memorable special appearances, while Priyamani, Sanya Malhotra, Lehar Khan, Sanjeeta Bhattacharya, Sunil Grover, and Ridhi Dogra play pivotal roles.
