Shah Rukh Khan starrer Jawan has been unstoppable at the box office. The film is not only doing well at the ticket windows domestically but also globally. After shattering several records in the first week itself, the film continues to wreak havoc as it enters the third week. The film has collected over Rs 950 crores.

Jawan worldwide box office collection

The action-entertainer created history by recording the biggest opening ever in Hindi cinema with 129.6 Cr. gross worldwide. Within 16 days, the film has minted Rs 953.97 crores. With this collection, the film has now emerged as the 3rd highest-grossing Bollywood movie.

Dangal:– 1968.03 cr

Pathaan:-  1050.3 cr

Jawan:- 953.97 cr*

Bajrangi Bhaijaan:- 918.18 cr

Secret Superstar:- 875.78 cr

Apart from this, it is also the 7th highest-grossing Indian movie after Dangal (2024 crore), Baahubali 2: The Conclusion (1810.6 cr), RRR (1316 cr), K.G.F: Chapter 2 (1235.2 cr), Pathaan (1,050.3 cr), Jawan (937.61 cr), Bajrangi Bhaijaan  (918.18 cr).

With such a collection, Shah Rukh is the only Bollywood actor to deliver two $100 million-grossers in a single calendar year. His previous release Pathaan earned over Rs 1000 crores globally, and now Pathaan is a few days away from reaching that mark. The combined collection of both films sums up to Rs 2000 crores which makes the actor box office king of 2023.

About Jawan

The action entertainer directed by Atlee, was released on September 7. It stars Shah Rukh Khan in a double role with Nayanthara playing the female lead and Vijay Sethupathi cast as the antagonist. Deepika Padukone and Sanjay Dutt make memorable special appearances, while Priyamani, Sanya Malhotra, Lehar Khan, Sanjeeta Bhattacharya, Sunil Grover, and Ridhi Dogra play pivotal roles.
