Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Fan’ collects Rs 52 crore in its first weekend

Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Fan’, which hit the theatres this Friday (April 15), has managed to earn an amount of Rs 52 crore after the first weekend. So far, this is the highest weekend collection of a Bollywood film this year. With Rs 42.50 crore, ‘Airlift’ remains the second.

Fan collected Rs 18.75 crore on Friday, on its first day at the box office. On Saturday, the collected amount was Rs 15.50 crore and on Sunday, it bagged Rs 17.75 crore.

Saturday witnessed a decline of 30%-40% on the footfall for ‘Fan’ in few cities.  However, a fair progress at the box office is predicted.

Directed by Maneesh Sharma,’ Fan’ is the obsessed journey of a fan to connect with his favourite superstar.
