Thank You For Coming vs Mission Raniganj Day 1 box office: Akshay Kumar and Bhumi Pednekar starrers witness an encouraging start

Bhumi Pednekar, Kusha Kapila, Shehnaaz Gill, Shibani Bedi, and Dolly Singh starrer chick flick Thank You For Coming released on 6^th October 2023. The flick is directed by Karan Boolani and bankrolled by Rhea Kapoor and Ektaa R Kapoor. It witnessed a clash with Akshay Kumar starrer survival drama Mission Raniganj. Despite the clash, Akshay’s film Mission Raniganj maintained its ahead of Thank You For Coming at the box office. Check out the Day 1 collection of both films.

The chick flick which also features Karan Kundrra and Anil Kapoor in pivotal roles, has collected Rs 1.06 crore. It is also to be noted that the film has been released on just 800 screens. Hopefully, the collection will get better over the weekend.

Talking about the survival drama, it has minted Rs 2.8 crores on Day 1. Helmed by Tinu Suresh Desai, the film also starred Parineeti Chopra in the lead role. With this collection, Akshay Kumar starrer races ahead of Bhumi Pednekar’s film.
