Amazon MX Player has unveiled the trailer of its upcoming series Made in India- A Titan Story, inspired by the journey of the Indian watch brand Titan. The series adapts Vinay Kamath’s book Titan – India’s Most Successful Consumer Brand and features Naseeruddin Shah as JRD Tata and Jim Sarbh as Xerxes Desai. The cast also includes Vaibhav Tatwawadi, Namita Dubey, Lakshvir Saran, and Kaveri Seth. The six-episode series is written by Karan Vyas, directed by Robbie Grewal, and produced by Almighty Motion Pictures.

Set in pre-liberalised India, the show follows the rise of Titan through the journey of businessman Xerxes Desai. The trailer highlights the challenges of building an Indian watch brand at a time of economic and industrial change. It also explores Desai’s professional relationship with JRD Tata and their shared vision of creating a homegrown consumer brand that would eventually become a household name.
