Speaking to Bollywood Bubble, Adah Sharma said, “Some parents give their children roots. Some give them wings. Mine gave me something slightly dangerous weapon— a mind of my own. My parents gave me the freedom to think for myself. Which, in hindsight, was a slightly risky decision. They allowed me to question things, disagree with them, make my own choices and discover who I am. They gave me freedom to form my own opinions and, occasionally, to be completely wrong. This Independence Day, I’m grateful for that freedom, the freedom to have a mind that belongs entirely to me.”
