Adrija Roy Opens On Finding The Right Balance Between Privacy And Openness As An Actress
Talking about maintaining her privacy while being the camera eye, Adrija said, “I am someone who likes to keep my life quite private.” She continued, “If I am sharing something about my life, it is mainly to keep my fans and audience informed, because I truly consider them as my family,”
However, Adrija is clear about her boundaries. The actress states, “Not everything needs to be shown. Some moments are too special and personal. And honestly, I feel nazar lag jaati hai.” She further added, “I believe happiness feels more real when it is lived fully in the moment, not just posted online.”
Talking about the growing culture of validation on social media, Adrija shared a very grounded perspective. She said, “Yes, somewhere social media has made us seek validation. When you see likes and comments, it’s easy to get attached to it.” But she quickly added, “I remind myself that real happiness does not come from numbers. It comes from within and from the work I do.” She also mentioned, “At the end of the day, no number can replace genuine love and respect.”
Adrija I Respect People’s Opinions, But I Don’t Let Them Define Me
Adrija Roy also opened up about dealing with opinions on the internet. The ‘Anupamaa’ actress said, “I respect people’s opinions, but I don’t let them define me. If something is constructive, I take it positively. But unnecessary negativity, I prefer to ignore.” Noting that peace is her top-most priority, the actress shared, “Peace of mind is very important to me, and I choose it over everything,”
Adrija further spoke about the impact of excessive social media usage. She said, “Scrolling has become an addiction for many of us. Sometimes we don’t even realize how much time we spend online, and it can make you compare your life with others.” According to her, staying mindful is important. She noted, “I enjoy social media, but I don’t let it control my mood. Real life matters more.”
She concluded by saying, “It’s important to log out sometimes and just be present with yourself and your loved ones.”
