EXCLUSIVE: DJ Ganesh Recalls Salman Khan Calling Him Once At 2:30 AM; Says, “That Night The Atmosphere Felt Warm, Spontaneous And Natural”

One of Bollywood’s most popular DJs, DJ Ganesh has become a regular name at celebrity weddings, luxury parties, and elite Bollywood celebrations. From performing at events attended by Salman Khan, Sidharth Malhotra, and Kiara Advani to playing at the lavish celebrations of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant, he has witnessed some of Bollywood’s biggest celebrations from close quarters.

During an exclusive interaction with Bollywood Bubble, Ganesh shared memorable experiences from his journey, including Salman once calling him at 2:30 am and why he had to miss Vicky Kaushal and Katrina Kaif’s wedding.

Recalling one of the most unforgettable experiences of his career, he spoke about the night when Salman Khan called him over at 2:30 AM. Sharing details about this memorable interaction, Ganesh said, “That night was honestly one of the most surreal experiences of my life. I got called very late at night, and the entire atmosphere felt extremely warm, spontaneous, and natural. There were conversations around music, amazing energy, and everyone was simply enjoying themselves without any formality.”

He added, “What I respect the most is when someone genuinely enjoys music without carrying the celebrity aura around them, and that night had exactly that feeling.”

DJ Ganesh On Missing Vicky-Katrina’s Wedding

Talking about celebrity parties, DJ Ganesh shared, “Every celebrity crowd is completely different once the party actually starts. One of the biggest learnings as a DJ is understanding that social media image and real party personality are two very different things.”

The celebrity DJ also revealed that he had to miss Vicky Kaushal and Katrina Kaif’s wedding because of prior commitments. Speaking about managing hectic schedules, he said, “I always prefer protecting the quality of my performances instead of only focusing on quantity.”
