Dulquer Salmaan and Gulshan Devaiah delivered terrific performances in Raj & DK’s Guns & Gulaabs. The web series also featured RajKummar Rao and Adarsh Gourav. Late Satish Kaushik was also a part of the film. Satish Kaushik passed away earlier this year due to heart attack. He was one of the most talented and versatile actors in the industry and there’s no denying that. In a recent exclusive interview with Bollywood Bubble, Dulquer and Gulshan fondly remembered the late actor.

Gulshan and Dulquer remember Satish Kaushik

Gulshan said, “I shared food space with him. I ate with him a bunch of times and he was always so warm and had a big smile on his face, always welcoming. And even his touch was such a warm gentle sort of a touch. I never got to act with him but it’ll be difficult to see him on screen now and I think we will miss him a little more than we already do.”

Dulquer, who shared screen space with him in Guns & Gulaabs, said, “For me it was like the day he was on set it was like the star was on set. I think all of us were like fanboys. He was a storyteller. He was genuinely warm, kind and funny. He could tell a story like nobody else.”

The actor went on to add, “Even the one scene that I had with him, he could sense that I was a little nervous because he was there and he kept me at ease and gave me all the space that I needed. And post shoot whenever we would sit after dinner, he used to laugh. I think he really liked youngsters. You can be an actor or you can be an AD, he wants everyone around and he’s telling us stories.” He further added that all used to ask him questions on the sets related to films. “I really can’t believe he’s gone,” concluded Dulquer.

Satish was one of the most loved actors in Bollywood. He was a part of films like Chhatriwali, Kaagaz, Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan among others. He was 66.

On the other hand, Raj & DK’s Guns & Gulaabs released on 18th August on Netflix.
