Vijayendra Kumeria Independence Day

Vijayendra Kumeria, who is currently seen as Sanyam in Juhi Mui, has a simple thot regarding patriotism – it should be visible in what people do and not just what they post on the internet. The actor, who has been lauded for his performance as the male lead in the show, believes that every citizen has a part to play in the country’s progress. Vijayendra feels the change has started with individuals, from doing one’s duties to taking responsibility and not always blaming the government.

Vijayendra Kumeria Recalls His Strongest Independence Day Memory

When Vijayendra Kumeria looks back at his childhood, his strongest Independence Day memory takes him straight back to school. The actor remembers attending the morning flag-hoisting ceremony and being part of a group that would sing patriotic songs. He shared, “The strongest memory is from my school days, when we used to go for flag hoisting in the morning. I remember that we had a group where we all kids used to sing patriotic songs. That’s the strongest memory that I have of Independence Day as a kid.”

For the actor, those simple school celebrations remain special even today. The morning ceremony, being surrounded by friends and singing together, made Independence Day feel different from other occasions.

Vijayendra: Patriotism Is Not About Just Posting On Social Media, It’s Being A Good Citizen

There are many patriotic messages on social media on Independence Day but Vijayendra says patriotism should not be limited to online activities. He believes that being responsible towards the country and doing one’s duty is far more important. He said, “For me, genuine patriotism is not just about posting on social media. It is about having responsibility, being responsible for being a good citizen and doing your bit for the country instead of just blaming the politicians or the government.”

The Juhi Mui actor believes that citizens also have an important role to play in making the country better. According to him, people should focus on their own responsibilities instead of putting the entire responsibility on the government. He added, “I believe that every citizen has duties towards the nation, and only if you are responsible enough and you are doing your duties, then you are entitled to your rights. This is what I feel.”

Vijayendra further explained that putting the nation first should be at the heart of true patriotism. For him, being a patriot also means thinking about how one’s own actions can contribute to the country’s progress. He concluded, “A true patriot should always keep their nation above everything, think about the betterment of the nation and do their bit before blaming others.”

For Vijayendra, therefore, Independence Day is not simply about remembering the country’s freedom or sharing patriotic messages online. It is also a reminder to us all that we all have a part to play, and that real change starts with us taking responsibility for our own actions.

Happy Independence Day to all our readers.
