EXCLUSIVE: Khushi Mukherjee REACTS To ‘Classy’ Poonam Pandey’s Remarks On Her Fashion Making People Uncomfortable; Quips, “Woh Maar Chuki Thi Na?”

Khushi Mukherjee and Poonam Pandey are actresses and now social media influencers. Both of them have been subject to controversy over their bold fashion choices, often being labelled as a publicity stunt or seeking attention. In one of Bollywood Bubble’s recent Podcasts with Poonam, she claimed that influencers such as Khushi should not wear short dresses and almost n*de clothes on the streets.

Khushi Mukherjee On Poonam Pandey Saying She Should Not Go Out Wearing N*de Clothes

When asked during one of Bollywood Bubble‘s podcasts, Poonam Pandey said that people like Khushi Mukherjee shouldn’t go out wearing almost n*de clothes, the actress reacted, “Poonam Pandey ne? Kaun Poonam Pandey? Matlab kya karti hai, Poonam Pandey? I mean, kaun Poonam Pandey? Nahi nahi, Poonam Pandey… are you sure Poonam Pandey ne bola mere baare mein? Achha achha… haan, kya bola?”

Continuing the same question, it was mentioned that Poonam said there are kids, elderly people on the streets, so such women should avoid wearing short clothes. To this, Khushi said, “Oh okay okay, main bas wapas se reconfirm kar rahi hoon, Poonam Pandey ne hi bola na yeh? Kyunki koi aur bolti na toh mujhe chal jaata. Matlab chal, chal toh yeh bhi jaayega, kya farq padta hai? Koi farq nahi padta. Accha hai na… chalo, Khushi ke aane se kam se kam Poonam Pandey toh sudhar gayi.”

Further adding, the influencer said, “Ab Poonam Pandey ne bhi yeh isliye bola kyunki she knew ki agar Khushi react karegi bhi toh ya toh aadhe log Khushi ko gali denge ya Poonam ko gali denge. She also wants to be… but ek minute, mujhe abhi yaad aaya, wo toh mar chuki thi na? Zinda ho gayi wapas? Achha, okay, toh yeh Poonam Pandey ne bola ya unki aatma ne bola?”

She continued, “Nahi nahi, Poonam Pandey ne bola. Dekho, main kam se kam apni pehli zindagi jee rahi hoon, main doosri zindagi nahi jee rahi apni. Wo toh apni shayad doosri zindagi jee rahi, achha yeh punarjanm hai? Punarjanm mein Poonam Pandey ‘Poo’ bani, Poonam ho gayi hai. Aur pichhle janm mein, Poonam was Poonam Pandey. Okay, theek hai, haan, phir jaayaz hai. Toh meri bhi agar maut hogi aur phir Khushi se, ‘Khud Khushi’ ban jaungi, tab shayad main bhi kapde change kar doongi. Par abhi toh main filhaal Khushi hi hoon na, toh main kaise aise badal jaun? Koi aise kaise bolta hai?”

Khushi Mukherjee On Exposure Culture

When asked about the exposure culture business they are in, like Poonam, Uorfi, Khushi Mukherjee said, “Poonam toh bahut senior hai yaar. Matlab main school mein thi us time pe jab Poonam Pandey suna tha.”

Speaking about her 2011 World Cup str*pping statement, Khushi said, “Haan, I think wo World Cup ka tha — ‘agar India jeetegi toh main str*p karoongi’— whatever.. She comes from Thane-waale side ki kahin se. Bachpan mein pata tha Poonam Pandey naam suna tha, toh bahut senior hai. Abhi bhi she is doing good, it’s good, achha maintain karke rakha hai.”

Khushi On Poonam’s Str*pping N*de Incident

Talking about Poonam Pandey being the first to begin PR games like str*pping naked in front of people in the 2011 World Cup, Khushi Mukherjee said she never made such statements. She said, “Maine aise statements kabhi nahi diye. Aap mere pehle se leke ab tak ka statement utha lo, maine aisa statement kabhi nahi diya. Maine yeh gimmicks nahi kiye hain. Maine kapde pehne hain, no doubt. I have spoken…she has also… dekho unhone mere baare mein bol diya, maine unke baare mein bol diya — wo alag baat hai. But I have always found her classy. I had no hard feelings for her. Maybe now also she is doing it because of her PR or whatever. I have no personal grudges against her.”

Poonam Pandey’s 2011 World Cup Incident

In 2011, model and actress Poonam Pandey gained national attention due to a controversial pledge she made during the ICC Cricket World Cup. She promised to str*p naked if India, captained by MS Dhoni, won the tournament. As the World Cup progressed, Pandey publicly declared her intention to do so if India secured the trophy. When India defeated Sri Lanka in the final in Mumbai, they won the World Cup, but Pandey did not follow through on her promise. She later explained that she was unable to do so because she lacked permission from the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI). Pandey admitted that the entire episode was a publicity stunt aimed at attracting attention, as reported.
