In a shocking and heartbreaking incident, actress and animal lover Payal Ghosh has taken a firm stand against her house help after discovering that one of her rescued stray dogs was violently hit with a wooden stick in her absence.
Payal Ghosh To File FIR Against House Help
The actress, who has been known for her compassion towards stray animals and recently gave shelter to 30 dogs and cats at her home, shared that she was left shaken after returning to find her dog injured and bleeding.
“I had to rush him to a veterinary doctor the moment I saw the condition,” Payal said emotionally speaking to Bollywood Bubble. “There was blood flowing from his stomach part… I can’t express the pain I felt seeing that. These animals trust us completely, and to see them hurt like that is unbearable.”
Sources close to the actress revealed that the attack took place at Payal’s animal shelter area within her residence, where the dogs are usually cared for under her supervision. The house help allegedly struck the dog multiple times with a wooden stick when Payal was away for work.
Payal confirmed that she is planning to file an FIR and will ensure that strict legal action is taken against the person responsible.
“Animal cruelty should never be ignored — not in any form,” she added firmly. “I’ve always treated my strays like family, and I will not let anyone harm them. I will pursue this matter legally so that it serves as a lesson to anyone who thinks they can hurt voiceless beings and get away with it.”
The incident has stirred strong reactions among fans and fellow animal lovers, many of whom have praised Payal for speaking out and taking a stand.
At a time when she’s celebrated for adopting and sheltering 30 stray animals, this painful episode has only strengthened Payal Ghosh’s resolve to continue advocating for animal rights — and to remind everyone that kindness is a responsibility, not an option.
