Perin Malde Reveals Being Nervous During First Meeting With Akshay Kumar

Perin Malde is getting ready for his first Bollywood movie, Bhooth Bangla. The film already has a lot of buzz because the much-awaited horror-comedy has a star-studded cast. People are excited about the movie, but for Perin, working on it has been even more special on a personal level. In the film, Perin shares screen space with big names like Akshay Kumar, Paresh Rawal, Rajpal Yadav, Manoj Joshi and Mithila Palkar, among others. Naturally, stepping into such a set for the first time was overwhelming for him.

Perin Malde Reveals Being Nervous During First Meeting With Akshay Kumar

Talking about his first day, Perin admits he walked in with a lot of nervous energy. He was the youngest on set and wasn’t sure how things would go. The shoot began in Jaipur, and he still remembers just standing quietly in a corner, trying to take everything in. “I still remember my first day on set. It was in Jaipur. I was the newest and youngest in the cast, so I was a bit nervous… I didn’t really know how to approach anyone,” he said.

But things changed quickly once he met the team. The fact that everyone was so nice, even though they were all well-known and experienced actors, surprised him the most. What stood out for him the most was the atmosphere on set. There was no pressure; everyone worked together in a very relaxed way and respected each other. He even called it a “family picnic” kind of vibe, where actors would sit together between shots, chat, and just relax instead of going back to their vans all the time.

Perin also enjoyed listening to stories from senior actors like Paresh Rawal and Manoj Joshi, especially their theatre days and old experiences. Even Mithila Palkar often spoke to him about her time working with Irrfan Khan, which he says he found very inspiring.

Akshay Kumar Would Play Ludo, Games

One thing he didn’t expect, though, was how playful the set would be. According to him, Akshay Kumar would often gather everyone during free time for games like Ludo. Recalling one such incident, he added, “The best thing I remember, whenever Akshay sir had time, he would just gather people, and he would be like, ‘Let’s play Ludo together.’ There was one time when I almost beat everybody, but I still lost. I think I owe him almost 3 thousand rupees.”

Akshay, Rajpal Would Play Cricket

At other times, Rajpal Yadav and Akshay would even start playing casual cricket on set, and anyone could join in. But once the camera rolled, everything would shift completely. “While those scenes are being performed, everybody would be so serious. They would perform with their entire honesty,” he added. Still, Perin says the hardest part for him was not breaking into laughter. “It was really tough not to laugh. I grew up watching and laughing on their iconic funny scenes, and suddenly it’s all happening in front of you” he said.

For Perin Malde, Bhooth Bangla has already become a memorable start to his journey in films – one filled with learning, laughter, and unforgettable moments.
