Poonam Pandey has significantly gained popularity through her social media and has become a pap favourite. She revealed never experiencing casting couch in Bollywood, and how she’s a media-made star. In an exclusive interview with Bollywood Bubble, Poonam Pandey revealed why she never faced casting couch and credits the media for everything.

Poonam Penday On Never Experiencing Casting Couch

Speaking about facing the casting couch when she came to the industry, Poonam Pandey said, “Casting couch, the universe has been very kind to me. I feel very sorry for all these women who have gone through this experience, and extremely sorry for them. Nothing of that sort has happened to me. Because I’m like a gunda also naa, mujhe kuch bolega toh I won’t spare you, a little bit.”

Poonam admitted that every day is a struggle. She said, “Every day is difficult.”

Poonam Pandey On Media Scrutiny

Talking about dealing with the media covering controversy and not cross-checking facts before publishing for anyone, Poonam said, “I mean, being famous, out there, everything comes with its pros and cons. Today, with whatever I am, it’s only because of the media guys. Aur main jab tak hoon main unko credit dungi, because mujhe na, kisine nahi banaya hai. Mujhe agar aaj baithkar baat bhi karna toh, this is completely media has given to me. Uske saath agar woh mujhe kuch bura bhi bol denge toh chalta hai. It’s totally like I am a media-created person.”

She added, “Maine itna dekh liya hai life mein ki abhi farak hi nahi padhta hai. It’s like thik haina. It’s become that, thick-skinned.”
