Radhikka Madan Reveals Anil Kapoor And Harsh Varrdhan Kapoor’s Energies On Set Are ‘Very Different’
When asked about working with Harsh Varrdhan Kapoor in the anthology series Ray and later collaborating with his father Anil Kapoor in Subedaar. Radhikka highlighted how both actors bring distinctly different energies to the set, saying, “I think the energies that Harsh and Anil sir have are very different. Harsh has a very contained, chill, internal energy on the set. And Anil sir has the complete opposite energy. He is out there lifting everybody up.”
She added, “You know, he has a palpable energy that will rub off on everybody. So, I think Anil sir has a more external vibe compared to Harsh, who is more internal. And they both are fantastic in their own ways. They both are cinephiles in their own ways. And I just loved working with the both of them, you know, in Ray and in Subedar.”
Radhikka Madan On Working With Abhimanyu Dassan, Aditya Rawal
The conversation then turned to another collaboration with actors from different generations, particularly Abhimanyu Dassani during her debut and Aditya Rawal in Subedaar. Radhikka explained, “I didn’t have any scenes with Aditya apart from that one or two shots in the climax, in which I was just sitting, so I didn’t get the chance to see his process fully. But they both are lovely people, very hard-working actors, and you know I’ve seen what Aditya did on the screen, and I’m in awe. I just wish the both of them all the very best. They both are so talented, and yeah, but I couldn’t see the process firsthand.”
Through these experiences, Radhikka Madan continues to gain insight from actors across generations, each bringing their own craft and energy to the collaborative process of filmmaking. Her reflections reveal how different acting styles can shape the environment on set while ultimately contributing to the storytelling in unique ways.
