EXCLUSIVE: Rajat Bedi Reveals He’s ‘Extremely Involved’ As Presenter Of Marathi Film Bandhu; Says, “I’m On Top Of Everything – Production, Creatives, Release”

After making a successful mark as an actor in Bollywood over the years, Rajat Bedi is now exploring a new side of cinema. The actor is foraying into Marathi cinema with Bandhu, and this time he’s stepping in as a presenter. While acting means living a character on screen, Rajat’s role as a presenter has allowed him to be closely involved with the film right from its early stages.

Rajat Bedi On Being The Presenter Of Bandhu

Talking about how different the experience has been, Rajat Bedi said that his involvement with Bandhu, goes much beyond just being associated with the film. Speaking about his journey with the Marathi film, Rajat Bedi said, “So, as a presenter, I have been extremely involved from the start of the film. I’m on top of everything, on top of the production, on top of the creatives, on top of even the release of the film.”

Unlike an actor who would normally concentrate on his character and performance, Rajat has been looking at different aspects of Bandhu. He has been part of the journey from the production and creative choices to the release of the film.

Rajat also shared an update on the film’s progress and revealed that the first copy is expected soon. He said, “So with God’s grace, we have completed the film. The first copy should be out any minute. We have just started. We have just announced the film in the market, and now the next two to three months are how we are going to get the awareness going amongst the public on the film and take everyone’s blessings and pray that everyone comes to watch this beautiful film.”

For Rajat, the next phase will be about taking Bandhu to the audience and creating awareness around the film. The presenter will now be closely involved in the promotional and release journey as well.

While Rajat is keeping the story under wraps, he did give a glimpse into what makes Bandhu special. He said, “The film title is Bandhu. So, it has an extremely beautiful logline where there is Ram, Lakshman is bound to follow. It’s a beautiful story of two brothers, how they intertwine together. It’s unbelievably beautiful. I don’t want to let out much of the story.”

With Bandhu, Rajat Bedi is taking on a role that puts him behind the scenes as much as in front of the camera. After years of working as an actor, his journey as a presenter gives him a different perspective on making and taking a film to its audience.
