Varun Dhawan No Entry 2

Boney Kapoor’s No Entry 2 has been in the news ever since it was announced. A sequel to the 2005 film No Entry – starring Salman Khan, Anil Kapoor and Fardeen Khan, the film was supposed to star Arjun Kapoor, Varun Dhawan and Diljit Dosanjh are its leads. In fact, reports even suggested the upcoming instalment would be titled No Entry Mein Entry, and probably include a cameo by Khan.

Since is announcement the casting has undergone several changes, with reports this morning stating that Shahid Kapoor was in talks for one of the key parts. Well, Bollywood Bubble has now exclusively learnt about another casting change – Varun is no longer a part of the project.

Varun Dhawan Quits No Entry 2

Amid the ongoing buzz surrounding the casting of No Entry 2, sources close to the making have informed us that Varun Dhawan is not a part of the film. The insider told us, “The speculations surrounding Varun Dhawan being a part of No Entry 2 holds no truth. Any rumour surrounding his involvement are untrue and baseless. Currently, the actor is busy promoting his upcoming film, Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai.”

With Varun exiting the project, he is the second leading man to exit the sequel . For the unversed, last year – a good while after announcing the cast of No Entry 2, producer Boney Kapoor confirmed that Diljit Dosanjh left the film. Soon after that news, reports of VD also planning to leave the project surfaced, but Boney was quick to shut them down. He had even gone on record and said that Varun and Arjun were very much part of the film.

Well, it seems like 66% of the cast Boney Kapoor initially envisioned in No Entry 2 has now changed.

Varun’s Next Projects

On the work front, Varun Dhawan was last seen on the big screen in the 2026 action war drama, Border 2. Directed by Anurag Singh, the film – set during the India–Pakistan war of 1971, also starred Sunny Deol, Diljit Dosanjh, and Ahan Shetty.

Dhawan is currently awaiting the release of his next – Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai, opposite Mrunal Thakur and Pooja Hegde. It released in cinemas worldwide on June 5. Post that, Varun will also be seen repriseing his role as Bhaskar in Maddock’s Bhediya 2.
