EXCLUSIVE: Will Jiya Shankar be the new Naagin next season? Bigg Boss OTT 2 contestant gives a SHOCKING reaction

The supernatural show Naagin is one of the popular and most watched shows. Actor Mouni Roy was the first one to be Naagin and over six seasons, Naagins kept changing. Every actor received immense love and appreciation from the fans. Seeing the success rate, rumours started buzzing that producer Ektaa Kapoor is going to release another new season of Naagin. While some names have cropped up, Bigg Boss OTT 2 evicted contestant Jiya Shankar’s name also circulated. Reportedly, Jiya Shankar will be the new Naagin in the next season.

Jiya Shankar is the next Naagin? Actor REACTS

Though there has been no confirmation on the same, Jiya Shankar recently reacted to the rumours. During an exclusive interview with Bollywood Bubble, she was asked if she is going to play the next Naagin. Jiya was completely shocked as she said, “Huh? Nahi nahi… nah hi main real-life mein naagin hu aur nahi reel life naagin banugi. Aisa kuch nahi hai.” (No no, neither I’m a serpent in real-life nor in reel life.) When asked if she would be interested to play Naagin onscreen after being offered the opportunity. She said, “I have no idea toh uski baat nahi karenge. Aisa kuch nahi hai.” (I have no idea and so let’s not talk about it because there’s nothing like that.)

Naagin 7 is happening? 

Given the fact that Naagin casting usually happens seeing the popularity of a Bigg Boss contestant, we wonder if Jiya would be part of it. Earlier, there were reports suggesting that Priyanka Chahar Choudhary would be headlining Naagin 7. Whereas Pratik Sehejpal will also be a part of the show. Naagin 6 was headlined by Tejasswi Prakash who was the winner of Bigg Boss 15. Though there has been no confirmation on the same, all the names mentioned were earlier a part of the reality show, Bigg Boss seasons.

Jiya Shankar was one of the finalists in Bigg Boss OTT 2 house. Unfortunately, the Ved actor was evicted ahead of the grand finale.
