Met Gala 2025: Mother-To-Be Kiara Advani Is Already Mothering! Actress Does A Double Debut By Flaunting Her Baby Bump For FIRST Time

The 2025 Met Gala has kick started and the visuals on the steps of the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute in Manhattan a dream come for every fashionista. As celebrities continue to impress us with their understanding of this year’s theme – Tailored for You, coincides with the institute’s exhibition – Superfine: Tailoring Black Style, Bollywood actress Kiara Advani has made her big debut. And let us tell you, this mother-to-be is mothering and how!

Kiara Advani Makes Met Gala Debut; Flaunts Baby Bump

Kiara Advani made a stunning debut at the Met Gala 2025 in a black off-shoulder gown by celebrated Indian designer Gaurav Gupta. The figure hugging ensemble – made with Gupta’s signature dramatic and sculptural elements, features a golden breast plate (complete with a cute gold heart over her baby bump) and an extremely long white dress shirt with black stripes that serves as a cape. What makes this look even more special is this is the first time the actress has flaunted her bump.

Kiara styled the look with soft waves and opted for a delicate makeup look and tiny side braids that made her look ethereal. The multiple rings, ear cuff and earring add more drama to the look.

Before making her Met Gala debut, the mother-to-be took to her Instagram handle and shared a couple of images teasing her look. Simply captioned, “Moments before the met (with a yellow heart),” the pictures shared included beautiful pictures of her glam look for the charity dinner and that statement coat that makes up the trail of her gala look with a ‘Braveheart’ tag attached to it.

About This Year’s Gala

The theme for this year’s gala – Tailored for You, coincides with the The Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute’s 2025 exhibition – Superfine: Tailoring Black Style. This exhibit will highlight the rich history and cultural significance of Black Dandyism – with a focus on tailoring and the contributions of Black designers.

The 2025 Met Gala will see several Indian celebrities in attendance including actress and mother-to-be Kiara Advani, the King of Romance Shah Rukh Khan and global singer-actor Diljit Dosanjh. The biggest fashion night of the year will also see Met regulars Isha Ambani and Natasha Poonawalla in attendance alongside Indian designers like Manish Malhotra, Sabyasachi and more.
