Directed by Anubhuti Kashyap, Doctor G is a medical campus comedy, based on a gynecologist who is the only male doctor in the department.

Ayushmann Khurrana 

Ayushmann Khurrana plays the lead role in the movie. He essays the character of a gynecologist, Dr Uday Gupta. The actor reportedly charged 26% of the Doctor G budget. As per reports, Khurrana was paid a whopping sum of 9 crores as fees.

Rakul Preet Singh

Rakul Preet Singh plays the role of Dr Fatima Siddiqui in the movie. She is an orthopedist. The actress also essays the character of Ayushmann’s love interest in the film. And, she was reportedly paid Rs 3.5 crore for a role in the movie.

Shefali Shah

Shefali Shah plays another key role in the movie of gynecologist, Dr Nandini Srivastav. The actor is the senior doctor and Khurrana’s boss. She was reportedly paid a fees of Rs 60 lakhs.

Sheeba Chaddha is seen playing the role of Ayushmann’s mother in the movie. Reportedly, Chaddha charged Rs 40 lakhs for playing the character Lakshmi Devi Gupta.

Meanwhile, as per reports, Doctor G was made on a budget of Rs 35 crore. In terms of the box office collections, Doctor G got a decent opening of over 3 crore on Day 1.
