Best Movies of Naga Chaitanya
Ye Maaya Chesave
This was the movie Naga Chaitanya and Samantha worked together for the first time. Directed by Gautham Vasudev Menon, the story revolves around the life of Karthik Naidu who meets Jessie, who is a Christian and falls for her. Her father opposes the relationship due to religious differences. Naga gave his best performance in the movie and was raved for it.
It was the remake of Malayalam film with the same name and Naga Chaitanya too played a character whose life had three stages, where he falls for different girls. It is not like the cliche love story. We see a character arc of Chaitanya in it. His character is seen evolving with each stage from a school lover to a college guy and later to a more matured person.
Majili starred Samantha and Naga Chaitanya. Both were terrific in the movie. Chaitanya played the role of a failed cricketer trying to make sense of his life as he tries to forget his first love. He eventually develops feelings towards his wife and her unconditional love for him. Both Samantha and Chay were lauded by audiences and critics for their performances.
Directed by Vikram Kumar, the movie dealt with the concept of reincarnation. Chay plays a successful businessman who gets to know about the reincarnations of his father and mother as youngsters, and then he decides to reunite them together. He was very much appreciated for his performance and he bagged the Nandi Award for Best Supporting Actor.
The movie released this year. Sekhar Kammula delivered an entertainer with Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi. Separated by their caste identities, both Revanth (Naga Chaitanya) and Mouni (Sai Pallavi) go to Hyderabad. Revanth wants to be a successful Zumba dance instructor, while Mouni wants to be in a corporate job. They are neighbours in Hyderabad, and eventually fall in love with each other. But the caste distinction shatters their dreams. We have to agree that Chay delivered his career best performance in Love Story.
