1. Yuvraj Singh and Hazel Keech

Yuvraj had earlier said in an interview that every time he asked Hazel out for coffee, she would agree, switch off her phone and would not turn up for the date. In fact, it took Yuvraj Singh over a year and help from a common friend to finally meet Hazel in person, and that’s when their journey began. The two eventually got engaged in 2015 on a beach in Bali and married in 2016.

2. Sagarika Ghatge and Zaheer Khan

Former Indian cricketer Zaheer Khan found love in ‘Chak De!’ India actress Sagarika Ghatge, who played the hockey star, Preeti Sabharwal. The couple, who kept their relationship under wraps for a long time, announced their engagement on social media and got the whole country talking about them. They made their relationship public when they attended Yuvraj and Hazel’s wedding reception together.

3. Harbhajan Singh and Geeta Basra

Former India off-spinner and CSK star Harbhajan Singh tied the knot with British-Indian actress Geeta Basra in 2015. The duo finally tied the knot after courting each other for 5-6 years, in a traditional Punjabi wedding in Jalandhar.

4. Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi and Sharmila Tagore

Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi was one of the youngest players to captain India in Test cricket. Pataudi met actor Sharmila Tagore in an after-party in Delhi back in 1965. Their marriage was opposed by many. Despite the religious differences, their union proved to be one of the successful ones after Pataudi tied the knot with Sharmila in 1969.

5. Virat Kohli And Anushka Sharma

The Indian cricket team’s captain Virat Kohli and one of Bollywood’s most gorgeous and talented actresses, Anushka Sharma were first linked up in rumours when they were shooting for a commercial a few years ago. Since then, the two have been inseparable and have been adorably in love. They tied the knot on December 11, 2017, in Italy in a closed gathering. Their wedding was the most memorable and highly ranked event in the country that year. The couple is now all set to welcome their first child.

6.  Sangeeta Bijlani and Mohammad Azharuddin

Sangeeta, who was climbing the charts of success in Bollywood slowly, met the soft-spoken and dashing Indian captain, Mohammad Azharuddin aka Azhar, in 1996. They fell in love soon, and he divorced his first wife to marry Sangeeta. She changed her name to Ayesha Azhar. However, their relationship did not work out, and after 14 years of togetherness, the couple separated in 2010.
