After ditching Akshay for SRK once, Kriti Sanon is back with Akki but at what cost?

Kriti Sanon has been roped in for ‘Housefull 4’. Well, it is not yet confirmed that she will be seen opposite Akshay Kumar or some other actor, but apparently, to be a part of this film she opted out of Mohit Suri’s next which has Aditya Roy Kapur as the male lead.

Had ditched an Akshay Kumar film for SRK

This is not the first time when Kriti has opted out of a film to star in bigger movie. Let us take you back to 2015. The actress was supposed to star in ‘Singh Is Bliing’, she had also started preparing for the film, but opted out at the last minuite to star opposite Varun Dhawan in Shah Rukh Khan-starrer ‘Dilwale’.

Not much buzz about her in ‘Dilwale’

Well, ‘Singh Is Bliing’ might have not worked well at the box office, but Amy Jackson, who had replaced Kriti had a kickass role in the film. And talking about ‘Dilwale’ we all know that it was Kajol and Shah Rukh Khan who stole the whole show.

Meaty role VS No role

Mohit Suri is known for giving his actresses really good roles like Shraddha in ‘Ek Villain’, Vidya in ‘Hamari Adhuri Kahani’ and others. His female leads are never just an arm-candy to the hero in the film. On the other hand, apart from Deepika Padukone and Lara Dutta (who were there in the first instalment), ‘Housefull’ franchise movies never had any thing for the actresses to do. They are just there to get the glamour quotient.

Is ‘Housefull 4’ a good choice over Suri’s next?

So, we wonder if doing ‘Housefull 4’ will give Kriti a good boost in her career, or it will once again be a bad choice. Well, only time will tell us.
