5 times when Sushant Singh Rajput’s sister Shweta Singh Kirti made headlines with her strong statements

The world was in for a shock with the departure of Sushant Singh Rajput. Naturally, his sister Shweta Singh Kirti couldn’t come to terms with losing her brother. And she decided to call for a thorough investigation of the matter.

1. When she posted a message on Facebook that appeared to be a warning for those who were casting aspersions on Sushant, who was found dead at his home in Mumbai in June. Shweta posted the message hours after Mr Rajput’s girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty was interrogated by the Enforcement Directorate, which is looking into an alleged money laundering angle behind the actor’s death. She wrote, “Someone said be careful who you mess with because you don’t know who protects them in the spiritual world.”

2. When she shared a throwback picture from her wedding celebration posing with SSR and shared that in some realm, they will always be together. Shweta took to Instagram to share the picture where Sushant can be seen in a white kurta and smiling ear to ear as he poses with his sister for the camera. “In some realm, we will always be together… #GudiaGulshan. I will try and find a video from my Sangeet and upload it,” she captioned the image.

3. On Sushant Singh Rajput’s two-month death anniversary, his sister, Shweta Singh Kirti had invocated his fans worldwide to come together and join them for a 24 – hour prayer observation for him. On August 15, 2020, Shweta took to her IG handle and shared a video of the global prayer service being held at their family home in Patna, Bihar.

4. Shweta also responded to a post by Ankita Lokhande about the triumph of truth. Shweta wrote that God is always with the truth. Just hours after the news of Sushant’s family filing an FIR against Rhea Chakraborty for alleged abetment to suicide, Ankita posted a quote, which read, “Truth always wins”. Shweta was one of the first ones to comment and she wrote, “God is always with the truth.”

5. And finally, when she thanked everyone for staying united. Shweta wrote on her Twitter handle, “I salute each and every warrior of Bhai… you guys are our strength and real hero in every which way. Right now our goal should be to stay united for the right cause. Requesting unity and understanding. #Warriors4SSR #JusticeForSushant.” Along with this, she shared a video of SSR’s family lawyer Vikas Singh giving his clarification over the remarks he made on Kangana Ranaut to India TV. The lawyer stated that he or Sushant’s family have no problem with Kangana Ranaut and that actress has in fact spoken about issues in the film industry very clearly.
