Toilet tax free

Akshay Kumar and Bhumi Pednekar’s ‘Toilet – Ek Prem Katha’ is surely one of the most awaited films of the year. The movie promotes Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s campaign Swacch Bharat Abhiyaan. The trailer is out, and it clearly shows that the movie will tackle a very socially relevant issue. So, if reports are to be believed, the movie might get declared tax-free in all the states where Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is in power.

A source told DNA, “The Government has decided to implement an entertainment tax exemption in all BJP-run states. ‘Toilet – Ek Prem Katha’ is not merely a film, but also a tool for social reform. And this film deserves to be seen by all. Therefore, it deserves to be made tax-free.” (Also Read: ‘Toilet – Ek Prem Katha’ motion poster depicts the funda for a successful marriage)
