Is Kareena Kapoor Khan planning to opt out of ‘Veere Di Wedding’?

Kareena Kapoor Khan was all set to start shooting for Ekta Kapoor and Rhea Kapoor’s joint production venture ‘Veere Di Wedding’ from next month.  However, according to a reports in a leading daily, the actress, who is currently pregnant, is apparently planning to opt out of the film.

If reports are to be believed, it is said that Kareena, who is in her second trimester, isn’t feeling good health-wise. A source said, “Bebo has already had a word with producer Rhea and shared her fears. While she was looking forward to shooting, she hadn’t anticipated morning sickness, fatigue and other pregnancy-related conditions. There are some days she is not in a condition to get out of bed, and the actress feels that by the time the film goes on the floor next month, she may or may not feel better. She doesn’t want to put Rhea and Ekta in a fix. The film has to be completed in two months, and if the actress is advised bed rest (like her doctor has warned), the shooting will get stalled.”

“Also, once she begins shoot for the film, the producers will have no choice but to wait for her and she doesn’t want them to incur losses because of her. At this stage, even though it is late, they can replace her without any losses. Yes, it will be a headache to hunt for a leading lady of Bebo’s stature at the last minute, but it’s better than having the film stalled,” added the source.

Recently, at an event, the actress had also stated, “Talking about the film, we’ll figure out the dates and how I feel.”

Now let’s wait and watch whether Kareena will star in ‘Veere Di Wedding’ or not.
