Ponniyin Selvan star Chiyaan Vikram admitted to hospital, fans pray for his recovery

Tamil superstar Chiyaan Vikram was rushed to a hospital in Chennai. The actor was admitted to a Kauvery hospital due to sudden illness. Apparently, the actor felt discomfort on Thursday and has been admitted to Kauvery hospital in Chennai. The actor will be seen in a pivotal role in Mani Ratnam’s Ponniyin Selvan.

Chiyaan Vikram was supposed to attend the teaser launch event of Ponniyin Selvan today (July 8) at 6 pm. But his sudden illness has left fans worried. They are praying for his early recovery.

There are many speculations doing the rounds about Vikram’s sudden hospitalisation. On Twitter, ‘#ChiyaanVikram’ is trending, with fans praying for the actor’s early recovery.

The actor has reportedly been shifted to a normal ward and is expected to be discharged later today. He might attend the audio launch of Cobra on Monday.

Chiyaan Vikram is one of the most popular actors in the Tamil film industry. He was last seen in Karthik Subbaraj’s Mahaan. He will next be seen Ponniyin Selvan playing the role of Aditya Karikalan. The movie is slated to release on 30th September 2022. He also has Cobra which is all set for a July 11 release.
