Rajinikanth returns home after wrapping Annaatthe shoot in Hyderabad; wife welcomes him with an aarti

Superstar Rajinikanth has wrapped the Hyderabad schedule of his upcoming film Annaatthe. Today, he has returned to his hometown Chennai. He went to Hyderabad on April 12 to shoot Annaatthe’s shoot. After a month-long schedule, he is back in Chennai on a chartered flight. According to film PRO Baraju, Rajinikanth finished shooting for Annaatthe in a “non-stop 35 days,” shooting schedule.

He was given a grand welcome by his wife Latha Rajinikanth and the video has gone viral on the internet. His wife can be seen holding the aarti thali as she welcomed her husband.

Today morning, Lakshmi Manchu posted a picture of herself with Rajinikanth on her Twitter handle. The actor apparently visited his friend and veteran actor Mohan Babu’s house where the photo was taken.

Talking about Annaatthe, it is an upcoming Indian Tamil-language action drama. The shoot of the movie was earlier halted after a few crew members tested COVID positive in December. It is written and directed by Siruthai Siva and produced by Kalanithi Maran under the banner Sun Pictures. The movie is slated to hit the theatres on November 4 worldwide. Reportedly, the director has also planned a short schedule in Kolkata. The film’s music is composed by D Imman. Apart from Rajinikanth, Annaatthe also stars Nayanthara, Keerthy Suresh, Meena Khushbu, Prakash Raj, and Soori. Rajinikanth was last seen in Darbar that released in 2020.
