Vikram: Suriya’s intense first look poster from Kamal Haasan starrer unveiled by Lokesh Kanagaraj

Kamal Haasan starrer Vikram is all set to hit the theatres on June 3. Just ahead of its release, Suriya’s first look from the movie is unveiled. The Jai Bhim actor is playing a cameo in Lokesh Kanagaraj directorial. On Wednesday, Lokesh revealed Suriya’s look from the film. “Thank you soo much @Suriya_offl sir for this,” he wrote as he shared the intense poster of Suriya on Twitter. In the poster, the actor was seen sporting a new hairstyle and wearing an ear stud.

Vikram has been creating a lot of buzz since its announcement. The trailer has got fans more excited about the actioner. It also has Vijay Sethupathi and Fahadh Faasil.

Recently, in an interview with Film Companion at the Cannes Film Festival, Haasan was asked about Suriya’s cameo in the movie. To which he had said, “It’s no more a rumour. We had to put up our hand and admit that Suriya is playing an incredible last-minute appearance. That should take the story a little further, probably into part 3.”

Meanwhile, in an interview with Bollywood Bubble, Kamal Haasan revealed that it was not Suriya but Amitabh Bachchan who was the first choice for the cameo in Vikram. You can watch his interview below to know why it didn’t happen with Big B.

Vikram is being produced by Kamal Haasan in association with R Mahendran under Raaj Kamal Films International banner. The movie also features Kalidas Jayaram, Narain, Arjun Das and Shivani Narayanan in pivotal roles
