When BTS and Coldplay announced collaboration, fans were convinced that an epic song is in the making. After they released the song, My Universe, fans just couldn’t stop going gaga over the new single. So much so that the song is currently trending on Billboard top 100 charts 2021. That’s right! The song My Universe has claimed the number one spot on Billboard top 100 followed by Justin Beiber’s Stay, Lil Nas’ Industry Baby, Drake’s Way Too Sexy, Ed Sheeran’s Bad Habits and many more.

As they achieved this incredible feat, Coldplay official Instagram handle shared the poster of their collaboration and congratulated BTS members RM, Jin, SUGA, j-hope, Jimin, V and Jung Kook while also thanking the fans who made it possible. He wrote, “Congratulations RM, Jin, SUGA, j-hope, Jimin, V and Jung Kook @bts.bighitofficial. Thank you to Coldplayers and ARMY and everyone who made this happen. love c, g, w, j & p

After Coldplay posted the news, fans were elated. Among many, a fan wrote, “You guys deserve this love around the world” while another one said, “Congratulations to Coldplay and BTS who gave us all such a beautiful song

According to the Billboard report, the single track has recorded 11.5 million streams in the US, 5.5 million radio airplay audience impressions while a good 127,000 downloads. As per the same report, Coldplay claims its second Hot 100 No. 1, after Viva La Vida that ruled the June 28, 2008, chart whereas, for BTS, it’s the sixth Hot 100 No. 1. Their earlier songs like Dynamite was ruling for three weeks at No. 1 in 2020. Savage Love in 2020, Life Goes On in 2020, Butter in 2021, Permission to Dance in 2021 and the latest one, My Universe in 2021.
