A Chinese woman in her 30s was detained in Seoul, South Korea, after attempting to break into BTS member Jungkook’s residence a couple of hours following his military discharge. She reportedly tried to unlock the front door by entering Jungkook’s house PIN but was unsuccessful.
Chinese Woman Trespasses BTS Jungkook’s Residence
According to authorities, the woman claimed to be a fan and expressed her desire to see Jungkook in person after his return from military service. “I wished to see Jungkook after his discharge from the military,” she reportedly told police upon her arrest.
The woman was caught attempting to access Jungkook’s home by trying to input the lock PIN multiple times. Despite her efforts, she failed to open the door and was apprehended by security personnel.
Jungkook, one of BTS’s most popular members, completed his mandatory military service and was discharged on June 11. He exited the Army’s 5th Infantry Division in Yeoncheon County, Gyeonggi Province. He served the military for 18 months, amid a welcoming crowd of fans. JK was accompanied by fellow BTS member Jimin, who was also discharged from his military duties on December 12, 2023.
RM- V Military Discharge
Before their discharge, other members, RM and V had also completed their service and were seen leaving military duty. RM notably played a short saxophone performance while in uniform, drawing further excitement from fans.
The eldest BTS member, Jin, was discharged on June 12, 2024. It was followed by J-Hope, who completed his service on October 17, 2024. With six members now having fulfilled their military obligations, fans eagerly await Suga’s return. He continues his public service duty, expected to conclude on June 21, 2025.
