Keanu Reeves on talks to star in Scorsese’s Devil In The White City Hulu series

The Matrix Resurrections star Keanu Reeves is in talks to star in Devil In The White City Hulu series. The actor who has an incredible movies resume has never done much work on the small screen. But looks like things are all set to change now. Keanu looks to have joined the cast of The Devil In The White City.

The Hulu original series is an adaptation of Erik Larson’s 2003 novel The Devil in the White City. The series tells the story of the rise of the first “modern” serial killer during the 1893 World’s Fair in Chicago.

Devil In The White is based on the actual story of two men, Daniel H. Burnham (an architect) and Henry H. Holmes (a serial murderer), whose lives were inextricably entwined during the 1893 Chicago World’s Fair. According to Deadline, Leonardo DiCaprio purchased the rights to the novel in 2010. He planned to turn the novel into a feature picture, with Martin Scorsese directing. Hulu revealed intentions to adapt the novel into a series in 2019. Leonardo DiCaprio and Scorsese are now serving as executive producers.

According to Deadline, The Matrix actor is currently in discussions to feature in the series. The series will be Reeves’ first major part in a TV series. However, it’s unclear which of the two major roles Reeves is negotiating to portray.

On the work front, Keanu Reeves can most recently be seen in The Matrix: Resurrections, which is currently playing in theatres and HBO Max. He’s also got John Wick 4 set to release in March 2023. He also has John Wick 5 in the works.
