Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas are one of the most loved couples in the industry. The couple tied the knot in December 2018. Since getting married, they have been giving fans major relationship goals. As many are aware, Nick is often addressed as ‘Jiju’ by most of his Indian fans now, as well as paps. Now, in a recent interview, Nick finally reacted to being called ‘Jiju’ and ‘Nickwa’ by the Indian paparazzi.
Nick Jonas FINALLY reacts to being called ‘Jiju’
Earlier this year, Nick Jonas attended the opening ceremony of the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre along with PeeCee. While they posed together, paparazzi were heard calling Nick ‘Jiju’. Addressing the same, Nick told BBC Asian Network, “A lot of people call me Jiju. We were just in Mumbai recently, my wife and I for the Cultural Centre the Ambanis opened and it was a great event. All the photographers on the red carpet were calling me ‘Jiju’.”
When asked about the paps calling ‘Ae Nickwa’, he said, “Yes, I did hear that. It was very good to be back and I love India. It’s been a couple of years since I was there. So, this was a fun trip. But yes, great to hear all the many nicknames I have now.”
Nick often visits India with wife Priyanka Chopra. Recently, Priyanka attended her sister Parineeti Chopra and Raghav Chadha’s engagement. Nick and daughter Malti Marie were missing.
Talking about Nick and Priyanka’s daughter, Malti, she was born in January 2021 via surrogacy. On Mother’s Day, Nick shared adorable photos of the mother-daughter duo on his Instagram. The singer’s caption read, “Happy Mother’s Day my love. You are an incredible mother. You light up me and MM’s world every day.” How sweet!
