‘Housefull 3’ earns Rs 15.50 crore on Day 1

Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh, Abhishek Bachchan, Jacqueline Fernandez, Nargis Fakhri and Lisa Haydon starrer ‘Housefull 3’ has successfully managed to rake in Rs 15.50 crore on its opening day. The film, which seems to be high on witty punch lines, has had a decent start at the box office.

Reports suggest that ‘Housefull 3’ has received a second best opening of this year following Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Fan’. Post two successful ventures, the third one too seems to entice the audience. Critics gave reviews to the film. Some liked it, some didn’t while some bashed it left, right and centre, but with the opening day numbers, it seems that ‘Housefull 3’ might be among the top grosser of the year.

‘Housefull 3’ directed by Sajid-Farhad also has Chunky Pandey, Jackie Shroff and Boman Irani in pivotal roles.
