Saif Ali Khan wants to tone down the content of his next

Saif Ali Khan is currently busy shooting for Akshat Verma’s directorial debut which is tentatively titled as ‘Kalagandi’. However, Saif, who has now decided to be the partner-presenter-producer of the film, wants to tone down the content of the movie.

In a daily, a source has stated, “Saif was extremely excited about the film initially and now wants to play it safe and has to asked the makers tone down the content a notch avoid censor problems. He also believes it needs a new title and the film could be renamed ‘Kala Kanti’. A final call is yet to be taken.”

The subject of the film is said to be dark and bold. Actors like Arjun Kapoor and Ayushmann Khurrana had rejected the film, stating it as a big risk.

Actor Akshay Oberoi has been roped in to play Saif’s younger brother and Neil Bhoopalam will be seen in a special appearance in the film.
