Sonu Nigam, Sunidhi Chauhan and Sukhwinder Singh sung for free

Director Omung Kumar’s upcoming film ‘Sarbjit‘ has already garnered lots of praises before its release, due to its impressive trailer and songs. The storyline apparently made the singers of the movie so emotional that they did not charge a single penny to sing in the flick.

Sonu Nigam, Sunidhi Chauhan and Sukhwinder Singh were extremely touched by the film and sang in it for free. “I sang for free in Sarbjit due to the love I have for the entire team and the topic. The producers Bhushan Kumar, Sandeep Singh and music composer Jeet Gannguli are like family. I have just got to know Omung through the song recording. Money is secondary,” says Sonu, who has sung the track ‘Dard’ in the film.

Sunidhi too shared her feeling saying, “I left with such a good feeling after recording this song that later I didn’t feel like talking about money, and that’s it. You get this kind of feeling only sometimes. It’s the least I can do for the suffering of so many people who get trapped and jailed out of ignorance around the world . May the film bring the issue forward for all to see and raise the right questions.”

Sunidhi who has sung the track, ‘Tung Lak’ in the film.
