When Varun Dhawan was SHOCKED after seeing not Kajol but Gauri Khan at Shah Rukh Khan’s home as his wife

Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol are one of the most popular jodis of Bollywood. They have shared screen space in blockbuster hits like Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham and more. The onscreen chemistry of SRK and Kajol had many fans believing they are a married couple in real life. One of them being Bollywood heartthrob Varun Dhawan.

The Bhediya star had confessed the same in a throwback interview during the promotion of their film Dilwale. The actor revealed on The Kapil Sharma Show that he had gone to promote Dilwale with SRK and Kajol.

Varun Dhawan said that he once thought Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol were married in real life. The actor reveals that he was quite shocked to see Gauri Khan opening the door when he went to the Badshah’s home.

Recalling his meeting with Gauri Khan the Bawaal actor said that he was collecting funds for charity with his friends and decided to go to SRK’ss home for the same. But was left shell-shocked when instead of Kajol, Gauri Khan opened the door.

He added, “Mujhe kuch galat laga uss waqt(I felt something was wrong at that time). I went home and asked my mother and learnt that not Kajol but Gauri Khan was SRK’s wife.”

Shah Rukh Khan and Varun Dhawan were spotted at the NMACC Gala in Mumbai. They ruled the stage with their blockbuster performance on hit songs. SRK grooved to Jhoome Jo Pathaan and was joined by Varun and Ranveer on stage.

Shah Rukh Khan and Varun Dhawan’s upcoming movies

On the work front, Shah Rukh Khan was last seen in YRF’s action dhamaka Pathaan. The Siddharth Anand directorial also features Deepika Padukone and John Abraham in a pivotal role. Pathaan went on to break records at the box office. SRK will next be seen in Atlee’s Jawan. The movie also features Nayanthara and Vijay Sethupathi in pivotal roles. He also has Rajkumar Hirani’s Dunki in his kitty.

Varun Dhawan on the other hand has Bawaal with Janhvi Kapoor and Citadel India with Samantha.
