Jab Tak Hai Jaan
Jab Tak Hai Jaan is a romantic drama film directed by Yash Chopra featuring Shah Rukh Khan, Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma in lead roles. he film was praised for its direction, cinematography and the chemistry between its lead actors. Jab Tak Hai Jaan made a notable name in Pakistan after collecting 63 lakhs.
Rajkumar Hirani's '3 Idiots' starring Aamir Khan, Kareena Kapoor, R. Madhavan, Sharman Joshi and Boman Irani broke all opening box office records in India. It was the highest-grossing film in its opening weekend in India and had the highest opening day collections for a Bollywood film. It also held the record for the highest net collections in the first week for a Bollywood film. In Pakistan, 3 Idiots collected between 60 to 70 lakhs.
Dabangg 2 starring Salman Khan and Sonakshi Sinha received positive reviews from critics in India and positive reviews from critics overseas and opened strongly at the box-office. Dabangg 2 is the second-highest grossing Hindi film of 2012 after Ek Tha Tiger. Box Office India declared the film a "blockbuster" in India after its first week and a "superhit" overseas. Dabangg 2 made a grand mark in the Pakistan industry, collecting over 3.8 crores.
Bodyguard starring Salman Khan and Kareena Kapoor, broke many records upon its release. Within the first day of its release, it went on to become the highest opening day grosser as well as the biggest grosser ever for a single day up until then. In Pakistan, the film collected Rs. 5 million on its first day of release.
Don 2 starring Shah Rukh Khan, Priyanka Chopra, Lara Dutta, Om Puri, Boman Irani and Kunal Kapoor broke many box office records. The film set several records on its opening day. It grossed $550,000 from 164 theatres in the United States. The film grossed ₹16.9 million during its first week in Pakistan, breaking all previous records.
Race 2 is a Bollywood action thriller film directed by Abbas Burmawalla, Mustan Burmawalla featuring Saif Ali Khan, Deepika Padukone, John Abraham, Jacqueline Fernandez, Anil Kapoor and Ameesha Patel. Race 2 recorded similar figures in overseas markets like its prequel. Moreover, it recorded the highest ever collection in Pakistan for any Bollywood film with an amount of Rs.4.93 crores beating Don 2 which netted Rs. 4 crore.
Aditya Chopra's Dhoom 3 starring Aamir Khan as the antagonist and Katrina Kaif, with Abhishek Bachchan in the lead role reprising his role of Jai and Uday Chopra reprising his role as Ali Akbar, as in the previous films of the franchise. Dhoom 3 broke many records on its opening days in India and abroad and it was declared as "the biggest hit of 2013" after two days of release. Dhoom 3 also set a new opening record in Pakistan, beating the previous record held by Pakistani film Waar. Dhoom 3 eventually became the highest grossing Bollywood film in Pakistan with overall gross of Rs. 12 crore.
PK is a satirical science fiction comedy film directed by Rajkumar Hirani. The film stars Aamir Khan in the title role with Anushka Sharma, Sushant Singh Rajput, Boman Irani, Saurabh Shukla, and Sanjay Dutt in supporting roles. The film received positive reviews and emerged as the highest-grossing Indian film of all time, and ranks as the 70th highest grossing film of 2014 worldwide. PK was the first Indian film to gross INR 7 billion worldwide. It was also the first Indian film to gross US$100 million(Rs 630 crore) worldwide. In Pakistan, PK had grossed with a whooping amount of ₨ 18 crore.
